Help and F.A.Q.

For a quick overview video on how to complete your child care application, watch the video below.

Frequently Asked Questions (F.A.Q's)

No, on this site you can complete and submit an application for child care that will be automatically sent to the child care centre(s) of your choice.

The Waitlist is an opportunity to find licensed child care programs that suits your family’s needs. Completing an application does not guarantee your child has been added to the operators’ waitlist. Each licensed child care provider maintains its own waitlist policy. Families should contact each program directly to ask about how to add your child to their program’s waitlist.

Families are welcome to contact as many programs they would like to express their interest. Families should contact each program individually to add their child to the waitlists of the programs they are interested in.

Families are encouraged to contact all programs they are interested in to place their child on their waitlist.  The amount of time a family has to wait for a space is dependent on a number of factors including: the Child Care Centres waitlist policy and demand for child care at the location.

You can apply online for assistance by visiting www.london.ca or by calling 519-661-4834.

Applicants with household incomes less than $20,000 qualify for full subsidy. Applicants in receipt of Ontario Works assistance or the Ontario Disability Support Program also qualify for full subsidy. Those with incomes over $20,000 will be assessed to determine how much subsidy is available to them. Use the subsidy calculator on this site to help determine whether you are eligible.
